As in prior years, Mahindra is expected to unveil some amazing vehicles and ideas on Independence Day in 2025. Vision.T is the name of the new concept vehicle that the domestic automotive behemoth is getting ready to introduce. Prior to its formal debut on August 15 in Mumbai, Mahindra has teased the upcoming concept car. The teaser image implies that the Mahindra Vision.T will be the newest iteration of the Thar.e idea, which was introduced in 2023.

The new teaser for the Mahindra Vision.T concept shows off a boxy SUV design that is strikingly similar to the previously displayed Mahindra Thar.e concept model, which was introduced alongside the Mahindra Scorpio N Pickup truck, which is set to hit the markets in 2026. One of the most well-known and best-selling SUV names in India for a while, the Mahindra Thar SUV, was presented as a fully electric, futuristic version of the vehicle.

Among the major USPs of the Mahindra Thar.e idea were its five-door design and, most importantly, its electric propulsion mechanism. The top view of the idea is seen in the most recent teaser, which also suggests a comparable, rectangular form. In addition to the wide, off-road oriented, meaty tires, the bulky bumper and wrinkles on the hood may also be identified. The teaser video displays, curiously, various bumpers and wheel arches from the Thar.e concept that was on board. Furthermore, in comparison to the Thar's flat hood surface, the bonnet has creases.

Considering the Mahindra Thar already has a five-door variant in the form of the Thar Roxx, we may anticipate that the next concept SUV will be a more production-friendly iteration of the Thar.e. Mahindra is likely to display at least four additional concept cars alongside the Vision.T, with a concentration on electric vehicles. In addition, the event, which the OEM has named Freedom_NU, is anticipated to see the automaker unveil a new platform. Although the emphasis is anticipated to be on electric vehicles, Mahindra will also be displaying ICE-powered models at the event.
