With a starting price of Rs 21.35 lakh (ex-showroom), Mahindra & Mahindra has at last released the Scorpio-N, which is equipped with ADAS, in India. The SUV now has 10 Level 2 ADAS features in its top-spec Z8L guise across both powertrain choices. In addition, the Indian automaker has revealed the release of a new Z8T version with extra amenities. This will be placed below the Z8L, which has an ex-showroom price beginning at Rs 20.29 lakh.

You may choose between manual and automatic transmissions for the six- or seven-seat Mahindra Scorpio-N Z8L. The SUV comes with either a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine or a 2.2-liter diesel engine, and it may be purchased with either 2WD or 4x4 capability. Its Level 2 ADAS suite offers 10 features, such as traffic sign recognition, high beam assist, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, and smart pilot assist. Additionally, the Scorpio-N ADAS has unique features like speed limit assistance and front vehicle start warning.

The recently released Scorpio-N Z8T is located in the center of the entire Z8 lineup and has the same configurability as all the available powertrain options. The front parking sensors, electronic parking brake, front camera, auto-dimming IRVMs, and 12-speaker Sony audio system are just some of the high-end amenities included in the new model. Additionally, the Z8T has features like a 6-way power driver's seat and ventilated front seats, as well as 18-inch diamond-cut alloys.

The Mahindra Scorpio-N's features and performance

With two engine choices, the 2.0-liter mStallion turbo-petrol in the Scorpio-N SUV produces 200 horsepower and 380 Newton meters of torque. There are two different tunes for the 2.2-liter mHawk diesel engine, each with a different power output figure. The mHawk engine in the Z2 model generates 130 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque, but in the Z4 and higher versions, it can reach 172 horsepower and 400 Nm. In addition, the SUV has 4x4 versions that come with a 4XPLOR terrain management system, but only for the diesel versions.
