Land Rover Unveils Defender Octa Black Edition with Strikingly Dark, Menacing Design

The potent SUV now has a new paint finish thanks to the unveiling of the new Defender Octa Black by JLR. With an all-black design to give it that menacing look, the new Defender Octa Black is based on the utterly ridiculous Octa version. The performance 4x4 Land Rover has undergone significant efforts to include extensive black detailing that will set it apart from the standard Defender SUVs.
Octa Black Defender: entirely black
The new Defender Octa Black has the new Narvik Black paint scheme, which the manufacturer claims is the "truest black" in the Defender range. Customers can personalize the outside of the new Narvik Black with an optional matte protective film, and it has a gloss finish.
On the Defender Octa Black, the optional electrically deployable towbar, the center box, and the exhaust silencer are all given a glossy or satin black finish.Furthermore, in accordance with the motif, around 30 outside features have been completed in black. The same 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 with 626 horsepower and 750 Newton-meters of maximum torque is used in the Defender Octa Black. Engine Details for the Defender Octa Black The new Defender Octa Black is powered by the same 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that BMW supplies. The engine generates a maximum torque of 750 Nm and 626 bhp. The model has Body and Soul Seats (BASS) in the front row to enhance the auditory experience, while the SUV has a 6D suspension system for improved off-road capability. The Meridian sound system in the Defender Octa has 15 speakers and 700 watts of power.
The redesigned headlamp cluster and signature graphic, new flush taillights with smoked lenses, and a bigger 13.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with PiviPro are some of the newer upgrades that the new Defender Octa Black receives throughout the lineup.
Two new colors, Sargasso Blue and Borasco Grey, will be available for the Defender Octa. Later this year, a fresh white wrap will be introduced.
Octa Black, the defender: Additional hues
The Defender Octa lineup will now be offered in two new colors—Sargasso Blue and Borasco Grey—in addition to the current Charente Grey and Petra Copper, thanks to the new Octa Black. Later in the year, Land Rover will debut the Patagonia White Matte Wrap on the Octa. India should have the new Defender Octa Black available soon.
