The Syros EV is now being tested on public roads by Kia India. This indicates that the final specifications are about to be completed and that testing is being conducted to make sure they work well in real-world scenarios. The Carens Clavis EV will be released first, followed by the Syros EV, which is expected to be available for purchase before the end of the year.
The Syros EV test mule that was seen was covered in camouflage, so the design specifics are still unknown. The Tata Punch EV and the MG Windsor EV will be competitors for the Syros EV after its launch.
To distinguish it from the ICE version of the Syros, the electric model of the Syros EV is anticipated to have minor modifications to the alloy wheel design and bumpers.
The Syros EV will have about the same features as the Syros, which is powered by an internal combustion engine. Thus, among other things, there would be an Advanced Driver Aids System Level 2, a 360-degree parking camera, a wireless charger, a digital instrument cluster, automatic climate control, and a big touchscreen infotainment system with software specific to electric vehicles. Additionally, the Syros EV is expected to include segment-first reclining, sliding, and ventilated second-row seats.
