Recently, the central government also unveiled the new FASTag-based annual pass, which costs ₹3,000. The annual pass, which is intended to facilitate cross tolls throughout the nation, was discussed in further detail by Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH). The FASTag-annual pass will only be offered to private vehicle owners, primarily those who drive non-commercial cars. In addition, Gadkari said that the Rajmarg Yatra app, as well as the official websites of the NHAI and MoRTH, will have a separate link for activation and renewal.
