The Scrambler 1100 has been discontinued by Ducati in markets worldwide, including India, signaling its end. The motorcycle has been removed from the Ducati India website, and the company has also verified its production. The Ducati Scrambler 1100 would not adhere to India's BS6.2 standards either since it was not updated to satisfy the forthcoming Euro5+ emission standards for Europe. After eight years of production, the Scrambler 1100 was completely imported into India and is no longer available.

The Ducati Scrambler 1100 has been discontinued

In 2018, the Ducati Scrambler 1100 made its debut, running on the 1,079 cc L-Twin engine, which was tuned to produce 85 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 88 Nm of maximum torque at 4,750 rpm. A slipper clutch and a six-speed transmission are connected to the engine. The Hypermotard and Monster 1100 were formerly powered by this engine, which was introduced in 2009.

The Ducati Scrambler 800 will continue to be available for purchase

Although the Scrambler 1100 is no longer available for purchase, Ducati will still offer the 803 cc model, which is also the more well-liked option. With the engine producing 72 horsepower at 8,250 rpm and 65 Nm of maximum torque at 7,000 rpm, the second-generation Ducati Scrambler is now available for purchase. A six-speed transmission is connected to the engine.

The cost of the Ducati Scrambler 800 ranges from ₹9.97 lakh to ₹12.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike comes in four models – Icon, Icon Dark, Nightshift, and Full Throttle – each of which has a unique paint finish and other features.

The Ducati Scrambler lineup has always been a niche product, and the Scrambler 1100 wasn't the most powerful motorcycle for the money. The cost of the last models ranged from ₹13.40 lakh to ₹16 lakh (ex-showroom). With a more contemporary engine, it will be intriguing to observe whether a more potent Scrambler is in the works.
