The 2025 Pulsar NS400Z from Bajaj Auto is now available in the Indian market with an ex-showroom cost of ₹1.92 lakh. The indigenous producer has made improvements to the engine and added new features, but the overall design has not changed significantly. According to Bajaj, the modifications were made in response to consumer input.
2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z: What has changed with the engine?
Although the valvetrain has been redesigned, along with new cam timings and an intake duct, the KTM-derived engine, which has a displacement of 373cc, has been retained. Forging the piston has reduced friction, increased durability, and increased thermal stability. The power output has increased from 40 PS to 43 PS. In addition to this, Bajaj has redesigned the radiator cowl to better dissipate heat away from the rider's legs.
2025 Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z: Faster top speed and quicker acceleration times
The maximum speed of the Pulsar NS400Z has been raised from 150 kmph to 157 kmph thanks to the new engine. The 0-100 kmph acceleration time has decreased from 7.5 seconds to 6.4 seconds, while the 0-60 kmph acceleration time has decreased from 3.2 seconds to 2.7 seconds. According to Bajaj, there shouldn't be any adverse impact on fuel economy despite the improvement in performance.
Additional Changes to the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z for 2025
Additionally, the motorbike now has radial tires both up front and in back. They are the Apollo Alpha H1 radial tires, which are known for their excellent grip.
