The Indian market plan for Renault is at a crucial point, as the company tries to reestablish its presence with a completely new lineup. Recent spy photos indicate that, despite the anticipated arrival of the new Renault Duster in 2026, the business is developing a larger three-row version, known as Bigster or Boreal internationally.

This seven-seat SUV, which was first observed being tested in India, may prove to be a significant addition to Renault's second act in the nation.

The fact that the test mule, which is disguised, was spotted on public roads in Tamil Nadu suggests that the car is going through an early local validation, even before its global debut, which is set for July 10, 2025. The SUV still has a lot of hints from the new-generation five-seater Duster, even if it's well camouflaged. Look for a solid SUV posture with an upright profile, a robust front fascia, and horizontal LED DRLs.

The 7-seater model will likely be noticeably longer and higher, with more interior space, particularly in the third row. Its presence is enhanced by features like massive window expanses, thick roof rails, boxy wheel arches, and a sporty rear spoiler. Its road posture is improved by the large alloy wheels—perhaps 18-inchers—upon which it is mounted, and they are also consistent with current three-row SUV norms.
