The base trim is eliminated from the 2026 lineup, leaving the top XM Label and XM 50e. The 2026 XM Label has a plug-in hybrid configuration that includes a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, an 8-speed automatic transmission, and a 19.2 kWh battery pack. The V8 engine produces 585 bhp on its own, but the electric motor that is built into the transmission adds another 197 bhp, for a total of 748 bhp and 1,000 Nm of torque. As a result, the XM Label is said to be the most potent BMW M production vehicle ever.
The SUV can accelerate from a complete stop to 100 kmph in 3.8 seconds and has a top speed of 250 kmph, which is restricted electronically. Interested purchasers can increase the limit to 290 kmph with the optional M Driver's Package.
BMW has boosted the AC charging rate from 7.4 kW to 11 kW as part of the SUV's few updates. The automaker has not yet provided official figures, even if this should in theory enable quicker charging rates.

2026 BMW XM: Price and Availability
The base price of the BMW XM 50e is €133,800 (₹1.31 crore), while the highest XM Label is €183,400 (₹1.80 crore). India currently offers one variant from the lineup, the outdated XM, which costs ₹2.60 crore (ex-showroom). The revamped SUV will first be available in Europe before gradually arriving at our shores.
