The inclusion of premium features that were formerly available as optional add-ons is one of the most noteworthy improvements. Cornering-optimized ABS and traction control are now standard on the 2025 model, improving safety and stability while driving aggressively or in hazardous road conditions. The My Triumph Connectivity system, which allows for smartphone-based turn-by-turn navigation, music, and call management through the TFT screen, has also been added by Triumph. The addition of a bidirectional quick-shifter, marketed as Triumph Shift Assist, that enables clutchless upshifts and downshifts, will also be appreciated by riders. The single-button cruise control mechanism, which improves comfort when driving on the highway, is another rider-friendly improvement.

Additionally, Triumph has added a new ride mode to increase the bike's performance flexibility. The 2025 model now has a Sport mode, which was initially available on the Daytona 660, in addition to the Road and Rain modes from the previous iteration. Without sacrificing its practicality for daily use, this mode enhances the Trident's throttle response and gives it a more aggressive attitude, making it ideal for exhilarating weekend excursions or twisting back roads.

From a mechanical standpoint, Triumph has enhanced the suspension system by replacing the front fork with a Showa Separate Function Big Piston (SFF-BP) unit. This new fork, which is still not adjustable, is intended to provide superior damping performance, notably when subjected to severe braking or rapid shifts in direction. The rear suspension includes preload adjustment, which offers some flexibility for various rider weights or for carrying a pillion.

The Trident's visual appeal is enhanced by the addition of three new dual-tone color options, including Cosmic Yellow with Sapphire Black, Diablo Red with Sapphire Black, and Cobalt Blue with Sapphire Black, as well as the current Jet Black design. In addition to enhancing the bike's street presence, these fresh color schemes also convey a more luxurious visual impression. The Jet Black version costs ₹8.49 lakh, while the two-tone versions are a little more expensive at ₹8.64 lakh. The new standard features and increased refinement make up for the ₹37,000 increase over the previous model.

The Trident 660 still has its tried-and-true 660cc inline three-cylinder engine beneath the new design and features. The Trident is fitted with a six-speed transmission and a powerplant that produces 80 bhp at 10,250 rpm and 64 Nm of torque at 6,250 rpm. The bike has a 14-liter fuel tank, weighs 190 kg with fluids, and uses Michelin Road 5 tires, which provide grip in all weather conditions. The Trident's seat height of 805 mm makes it accessible to a wide range of riders, and its neutral, upright riding position is comfortable for both weekend trips and daily commuting.
