5 months ago | 5 Views

The price of the 2025 Trident 660 in India has been formally announced by Triumph Motorcycles, with an ex-showroom starting price of ₹8.49 lakh. The revised middleweight roadster maintains its fundamental mechanical package and retro-modern appearance but now has a number of important new features that were previously offered as extras.

India's premium middleweight naked bike market still has the Triumph Trident 660 as a standout product. Although there is no direct competition, the Kawasaki Z650RS and Honda CB650R E-Clutch are models that offer similar performance and design concepts to drivers. Interested purchasers should call their local Triumph dealer for information on availability and reservations.

Pricing and color choices for the Triumph Trident 660

In addition to the existing Jet Black option, Triumph has updated the Trident's aesthetic appeal by adding three new dual-tone colorways: Cosmic Yellow/Sapphire Black, Diablo Red/Sapphire Black, and Cobalt Blue/Sapphire Black. The dual-tone colorways are priced at ₹8.64 lakh (ex-showroom) whereas Jet Black is priced at ₹8.49 lakh (ex-showroom). This is a price rise of ₹37,000 when compared to the previous model. However, the rise is justified by the inclusion of these new capabilities as standard.

The new Triumph Trident 660 gets a muscular appearance with its sculpted tank design.

Triumph Trident 660: New features

Triumph has improved the value proposition of the Trident 660 for 2025 by including a number of high-end features as standard. These are the cruise control system, which is controlled with a single button, the My Triumph Connectivity system, the bidirectional quickshifter (Triumph Shift Assist), and traction control and cornering-optimized ABS.

The Trident 660 now has a 'Sport' riding mode in addition to the current Road and Rain options. The bike's versatility for more spirited riding is further enhanced by the inclusion of Sport mode, which made its debut on the Daytona 660.

Triumph Trident 660: Chassis and suspension

Beyond the electronics, Triumph has made a notable chassis revision for 2025. The front suspension has been upgraded to a Showa Big Piston fork, aimed at improving front-end feedback and overall ride control. However, the fork remains non-adjustable, and the only adjustable suspension component continues to be rear preload.

Triumph Trident 660: Engine and performance

Other key mechanical specifications remain unchanged. The bike is still powered by a 660cc, inline three-cylinder engine, delivering 80 bhp and 64 Nm of torque. With a 14-litre fuel tank and Michelin Road 5 tyres, the bike tips the scales at 190kg (wet). The seat height stands at 805mm, making it accessible to a broad range of riders.
