The highly acclaimed crime thriller series CID is set to debut its second season for streaming on Netflix. Featuring prominent actors Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty, and Aditya Srivastava in leading roles, the series, which initially launched on Sony LIV, will be accessible on Netflix starting on this date.

CID Season 2 on Netflix  

CID boasts a substantial fan following and has recently transitioned back to a web format for its second season. A total of 18 episodes will commence streaming on Netflix on Friday, February 21. New episodes will be released every Saturday and Sunday at 10 PM, beginning February 22. The series remains available for viewing on Sony TV and Sony LIV, in addition to its new availability on Netflix for those who prefer this platform.

On Thursday, Netflix India announced, “CID is now at Netflix’s doorstep. Starting tomorrow, you can watch all the released episodes of the new season on Netflix! Additionally, new episodes will be available every Saturday and Sunday at 10 PM. #CIDonNetflix.”

About CID  

The cast of CID features notable actors such as Shivaji, Dayanand, Aditya, Narendra Gupta, Ansha Sayed, Ajay Nagrath, among others in key roles. For those unfamiliar, CID originally premiered on television in 1998 and celebrated the achievement of reaching 1500 episodes. The series concluded in 2018 after a remarkable 20-year run on Sony TV, establishing itself as one of the longest-running Indian television series.

Following its initial conclusion, the show was revived for a second season, which began airing on December 21, 2024, after a six-year break. Over the years, CID has developed a dedicated fan base.
