The video song, Vintage Love, from the upcoming Tamil film Star, was released by the makers on social media recently. The song is composed and sung by musician Yuvan Shankar Raja, with the video starring Kavin and Preity Mukhundhan. While a release date for Star is yet to be announced, the makers have extensively have begun to promote the film by releasing the soundtracks from Star.

Vintage Love from Star out

Kavin, an upcoming actor in the Tamil film industry, has been having a steadfast growth and proved himself as a bankable star with the success of Dada last year. Up next, Kavin has paired up with director Elan of Pyaar Prema Kadhal fame for a film titled Star. The makers released the video version of Vintage Love song recently.

The video shows Kavin performing the song with his guitar, with Preity Mukhundhan in the audience. The three-and-half-minute song is a melody backed with strong beats, with Kavin supposedly performing for his lady love. The video also shifts to an icy landscape where the duo can be seen dancing. Kabilan has penned the lyrics.

More about Star

Star is expected to be a family drama, which will show the rise and struggles of a movie star. Apart from Kavin and Preity, the film also stars Lal, Aaditi Pohankar, Geetha Kailasam, and others. Written and directed by Elan, Star has cinematography by Ezhil Arasu K, with editing handled by Pradeep E Ragav. Vinoth Raj Kumar N is the art director.

Star is in the final stage of its post-production phase. Kavin had recently completed dubbing for his portions and the film is gearing up for release in the later portion of this year. Star can be said one of the biggest projects in Kavin's career so far. The film was initially launched with Harish Kalyan. But the actor had to opt out, to be subsequently replaced by Kavin.
