As Vasanth Ravi, Aishwarya Lekshmi and Ashok Selvan’s romantic drama Pon Ondru Kanden gears up for its Tamil New Year release, the makers released the second single from the film. Tilted Ennammaa, the song is composed and sung by Yuvan Shankar Raja and has lyrics by Vignesh Ramakrishna. The romantic song has stunning visuals and is about Aishwarya Lekshmi and Vasanth Ravi's romance. Yuvan’s vocals will have you swaying and swooning.

Vasanth Ravi, who is one of the lead actors in the film, took to his social media account to praise the composer’s vocals. “Yuvan sir, You are truly Our Little Maestro, #Ennammaa is such a Pure Addictive substance kind of song, The Excitement is overloaded for this song from our film “Pon Ondru Kanden”, especially with the rhythmic sounding and flow of the tune in the song along with Yuvan sir"s vocals really does make your heart to dance and fall in love. My top favourite in the album, it is a song that will be like a ticking time bomb in everyone’s playlist and is all set to blast our headphones (sic)”, the actor wrote on his X page. 

SunLight, which is also composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, was the first single that the makers of Pon Ondru Kanden had released. Unlike Ennammaa, SunLight has Ashok Selvan vibing to peppy beats.

What is Pon Ondru Kanden all about?

Pon Ondru Kanden, directed by Priya V Kamakshi, is a fun, romantic entertainer that has a love triangle. The lead actors are Aishwarya Lekshmi, Ashok Selvan and Vasanth Ravi. The film will have a direct OTT premiere on JioCinemas on April 14, on the occasion of Tamil New Year. The film will also have a TV premiere on Colors Tamil and will be released on the same date.

Notably, the cast and crew had earlier expressed their displeasure at the film’s direct TV premiere. Vasanth Ravi was the first to express his displeasure about keeping the team uninformed about the TV premiere of Pon Ondru Kanden. He had alleged that the was kept in the dark about the television premiere.
