1 month ago | 5 Views
On the celebration of Mother's Day, Andhra Pradesh Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha introduced the touching song "Amma" from the anticipated film Friday. The movie showcases Diya Raj, Inaya Sultana, Rihana, Vikas Vasishta, and Rohith Boddapati in prominent roles. Produced by Kesanakurthi Srinivas under Sri Ganesh Entertainments, Friday is a distinctive suspense thriller directed by Eswar Babu Dhulipudi.
The film has wrapped up shooting and is now in the post-production stage. Previous promotional posters have already created considerable excitement and raised viewers' expectations for the film.
The recently unveiled track "Amma," which honors a mother's love, was presented by Minister Anitha on Sunday. After viewing the song, she commended the film's crew for skillfully conveying the essence of maternal love. She wished the entire cast and crew great success.
The song features a heartfelt performance by Snigdha Nayani, with lyrics crafted by Madhu Kiran M. that are reportedly moving to listeners. The music, created by Prajwal Krish, is said to resonate deeply with many. The song is currently gaining viral popularity online as a special tribute for Mother's Day.
At the song launch, Kalpika Ganesh, who contributed a special video and attended the event, expressed her feelings: “I’ve known Snigdha for a decade and am aware of her journey with her mother. A mother is already present within a girl from birth, even if she doesn’t recognize it. One does not need to give birth to understand the feelings tied to motherhood. I simply made a small gesture of one woman supporting another. I dedicated a special video to my mother and to all mothers everywhere. ”
Singer and Actress Snigdha stated, “First and foremost, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you and wish a very Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers, especially to those whose sons are courageously serving on the front lines. The sacrifices they make for our safety and happiness are truly indescribable.
I had a fantastic experience collaborating with the actors on this project. When the director initially brought me in, he asked me to keep the story under wraps — now I fully understand why. I’m incredibly thankful to him for the opportunity to sing this song. I also want to express my appreciation to the music director for composing such a lovely piece and putting his trust in me. I encourage everyone to cherish their mothers as the most valuable part of their lives.
Inaya remarked: “This might be a small film, but our director is a Dadasaheb Phalke Award recipient. Eswar means cinema, and cinema means Eswar. Our producer is remarkable. Even after sustaining an injury recently, he made it here today to support the film. ”
Our troops are dispatched to the frontlines by their mothers so that we can enjoy a peaceful life. Let us pay tribute to those mothers today. The song titled 'Mother' brought me to tears — I have never felt something quite like that before. Our cinematographer, Prithvi, has excelled in his work, and the music has taken the movie to new heights. I genuinely hope it becomes a great hit.
Producer Kesanakurthi Srinivas mentioned: “When the director initially shared the story, he mentioned there would be a song centered around a mother’s feelings. That resonated with me deeply. I lost my mother before I could fulfill the dreams I had for her. Creating this film felt like a way to pay tribute to her legacy.
When Eswar said we could finish in 30 to 40 days, I instantly agreed. After all, how could I refuse a story about mothers? This movie contains 144 scenes and has turned into something truly remarkable. Ultimately, who doesn’t cherish their mother? ”
Director Eswar conveyed: “Thank you, everyone. Some may question why we organized an event for just one song — but there’s a more profound reason behind it. A recent incident in Kashmir, where Hindus were killed, affected me deeply. Hinduism is more than just a faith; it represents a way of living. It embodies our culture. This event serves as both a memorial and a reminder of our societal duties.
My previous film, 1948 Akhand Bharath, did not garner much attention at its release. However, it is now attracting interest. That film dared to question: why did Godse assassinate Gandhi? Only recently have social media discussions around this emerged.
This new film delves into how a mother’s emotional state impacts her unborn baby — capturing the essence of pregnancy and motherhood. On this Mother’s Day, let’s remember two iconic women: Maharani Jija Bai, the mother of Shivaji, and Jaivanta Bai, the mother of Maharana Pratap. They nurtured their sons to uphold righteousness and defend their homeland.
I am convinced this film will motivate parents to guide their children to stand firm on their principles. This song is dedicated to the mothers of soldiers — and, most importantly, to our producer’s mother. Snigdha infused her heart into her performance. Even the child’s voice you hear in the song? That’s hers as well. ”
Actress Deeya Raj expressed: “Thank you all very much. Snigdha delivered the song with tremendous passion and emotion. I am grateful to our director for this opportunity. Also, I greatly appreciate my producer, who treated me like one of his own. And a huge thank you to our cameraman Prithvi. ”
Actor Rohith shared: “Snigdha’s voice gave me chills. When Eswar first introduced the story to me, I felt anxious — the character has many emotional dimensions. I am very close to my mother. I even have a tattoo of the word ‘Mom’ on my hand. I was quite the troublemaker as a child, but she has always supported me. ”
Heroine Rehanna conveyed her appreciation to the producer and director for the chance to join the film.
Child artist Guddu expressed gratitude to the entire crew that contributed to the movie.
