Gangs of Godavari is Vishwak Sen's latest film which has been in the making for almost two years now. Slatest to hit the screens on May 17, 2024, this period drama has Neha Sshetty as the female lead. Krishna Chaitanya, the lyricist turned director, has helmed this film on a huge budget.

Motha from Gangs of Godavari is an instant hit

The special aspect of the film is Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the music. After the super success of the first number Suttamla Soosi, the makers released another special number titled Motha from the film. MM Mansani has crooned this mass number which sounds cool and gives you the party vibe.

Ayesha Khan, who is high on the success of Om Bheem Bush, is the major attraction in this number and kills it with her dances. The composition, massy lyrics, and crazy dance moves of Ayesha Khan lit up this song.

Vishwak Sen is seen in a Lungi-clad avatar and is having loads of fun with his gang. Oscar winner, Chandrabose has composed the lyrics for this number which is shot on a lavish note.  Gangs of Godavari is a film about a fisherman and their internal gang wars. Vishwak Sen plays an arrogant fisherman who rises from the ashes and becomes a gangster.

Naga Vamsi and director Trivikram have co-produced this film and are planning some very innovative promotions to keep the film in the news. Gangs of Godavari was supposed to be released before Vishwak Sen's Gaami but was postponed at the last minute.

Now, the action drama is having a solo release and is drawing all the attention for its dance numbers which are composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, who is making a comeback to Telugu cinema after a very long gap.
