Asim Riaz has just released his first music video post break-up with Himanshi Khurana. Asim Riaz and Himanshi were dating since the end of 2019, when Bigg Boss 13 aired. Post their separation, Asim has shared a song on heartbreak, Chali Gai. The track sees him rap on lyrics expressing pain.

Chali Gai

Chali Gai is now out. The music video sees Asim talk about separation (the literal meaning of Chali Gai) and heartbreak. The song talks about love and how when they feel that emotion, the world revolves around their person. When the very person leaves, there’s an emptiness, which Asim beautifully expresses through the song. Doing so, he also speaks the blatant truth of dealing with the emotion in life. Apart from Hindi though, Asim also uses Punjabi verses in the rap. The end verse, “Pyaar mein insaan hamesha hi dhokha khaata hai,” hits different and fans are confused whether it is his hint towards his own relationship and parting ways with Himanshi.

The break-up

Himanshi Khurana had announced her break-up with Asim Riaz on social media. She had initially revealed that they parted ways due to religious differences (he is a Muslim and she is a Hindu) but deleting the particular tweet, she went on to only announce her and Asim’s separation.

Asim-Himanshi’s journey

Asim and Himanshi were a contestant on Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 13. That is where they fell in love. More specifically, Asim fell in love with Himanshi, who was already engaged to someone else at that point in time. Himanshi also fell in love and broke her engagement. She however refrained from revealing her true feelings on the show. After the show though, it was clear, for Asim and Himanshi travelled across India and the world to shoot for various music videos. The two left hints as well, thus confirming that they indeed are together. Alas, there wasn’t a happy ending for them, not yet.
