Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor are back on sets after collaborating on Bawaal. They have now commenced shooting for Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. This happens a few hours after Janhvi was trending for her IPL 2024 appearance, where she was supporting Mumbai Indians (MI), while promoting her upcoming film, Mr. & Mrs. Mahi (which co-stars Rajkummar Rao). The first glimpse of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari

Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari has gone on floors and Shashank Khaitan informed of the same by sharing a photo from the sets. In the picture, one can see a round table, among many round tables, all of them having a flower bouquet and champagne glasses (apart from normal water glasses, plates and napkins) on them. In the middle of it, sits the clapperboard revealing what scene is being shot first. This appears to be a scene from a wedding reception or the likes of it.

Which scene is being shot?

According to the clapperboard, the third scene of the film is being shot. This is sure to take you back to Badrinath Ki Dulhania, which had Varun Dhawan’s Badri meet Alia Bhatt’s Vaidehi at a wedding. That is where the Aashiq Surrender Hua song also comes in.

About the film

Alia Bhatt is no longer a part of the franchise. Janhvi Kapoor has replaced the actress, thus causing varied opinions of netizens, most of which miss Aloo in the film (since Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania was Varia’s second movie right after their debut in Karan Johar’s Student of the Year). The latest addition to the cast also includes Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf. They are likely to play the second couple and friends to Sunny Sanskari and Tulsi Kumari, played by Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor respectively.
