The official trailer of Siren, the upcoming Tamil film starring actor Jayam Ravi in the lead role, was released by the makers on social media recently. The film is set to hit the theatres on February 16.

A revenge thriller, the film also stars Keerthy Suresh and is directed by Antony Bhagyaraj. Siren is produced by Sujatha Vijaykumar.

What does Siren trailer show?

The nearly two-and-half minute trailer starts with the voiceover of Jayam Ravi who says how in most instances doctor say had the patients been brought minutes earlier, they could have saved them and how time is in our hands. We also get to see Jayam Ravi in a salt-and-pepper look and playing an ambulance driver, while Keerthy dons the khaki and plays a cop. While we get to see some drama unfold, the trailer also reveals a past, in which Anupama Parameswaran plays the wife to Jayam Ravi's character and it is revealed that they have a daughter, who is now opposed to her father. The rest of the trailer is packed with action, emotions, and police trying to unravel a murder that is alleged on Jayam Ravi's character.

What do we know about Siren?

Siren is written and directed by Antony Bhagyaraj. Besides Jayam Ravi, the film also stars Keerthy Suresh, Anupama Parameswaran, Yogi Babu, Samuthirakani, among others in significant roles. It marks the first onscreen collaboration of Jayam Ravi and Keerthy. The cinematography for the film is handled by Selva Kumar SK, while the editing is done by Ruben. Dhilip Subbarayan is in charge of the stunt choreography. The film is produced by Sujatha Vijayakumar. Music is scored by GV Prakash Kumar, who had already released songs such as Netru Varai from the upcoming film, while Sam CS has composed the background score. 

According to popular reports, the digital rights for the film has been bagged by a popular OTT platform for a whopping price of Rs 40 crore. Although there has not been any official confirmation from the team, the digital rights for the film have been reportedly bagged by Zee5.
