Sunny Deol posted some stunning views of Dehradhun for his Instagram followers. He captioned one of the videos, 'Just arrived at the border, dealing with crazy weather and a gorgeous sunset in Dehradhun.' The actor is currently filming a movie with Varun Dhawan, known for his role in Badlapur.

Jaat's earnings at the box office

Sunny Deol's Jaat has raked in Rs. 85 crore net so far. Last week, it crossed the Rs. 100 crore mark globally, kicking off a trend where films are hitting that milestone after their second weekend. This week, Akshay Kumar's Kesari 2 also hit Rs. 100 crore worldwide after its second weekend. However, Jaat's Box Office numbers have started to dip since last week, facing tough competition from Kesari 2, Salman Khan's Sikandar, Emraan Hashmi's Ground Zero, Pratik Gandhi's Phule, and especially the re-release of the classic Andaz Apna Apna featuring Salman and Aamir Khan.

Directed by Anurag Singh, who also worked on Kesari 1, Border 2 is said to draw inspiration from the Kargil War of 1999. The first film focused on the 1971 India-Pakistan partition and the ensuing conflict. This sequel features Diljit Dosanjh, and it seems that Ahaan Shetty, the son of Suniel Shetty—who starred in the original—has joined the cast as well. JP Dutta, the director of the first film, is producing this sequel in collaboration with T-Series. Border 2 is set to hit Indian theaters on January 23, 2026.
