Shankar is the man of the moment as he is busy with not one but two films, Game Changer and Indian 2. Out of them, Indian 2 is all set to release on July 12, 2024. Titled Bharateeyudu 2 in Telugu, the makers are leaving no stone unturned to make the film a smash hit and are releasing it on a vast number of screens in Telugu states.

Shankar responds on Game Changer's delay

The makers arranged an interaction today, and the stars spoke to the press in detail. Shankar was put in a spot and was asked whether shooting for two back to back films, Indian 2 and Game Changer at a time, spoilt the quality of Indian 2.

Shankar did not hesitate one bit and said that as there would lot of emphasis on both the films and there would be a discussion about quality, he and his team worked extra hard to make the film in an even better quality. "I have never compromised on the quality. The creative work on both films was completed long back, and when I was shooting for one film, my concentration never shifted to the other project," says Shankar.

Kamal Haasan on Game Changer

Adding to this, Kamal Haasan stated that making two films at a time is nothing special, and directors like K Balachander and Dasari Narayana Rao made five films at a time and all of them used to be hits. "I remember shooting four of my films in the direction of Bala sir in a year, and all of them were big hits. So, a talented director will never compromise on the quality of the film and will make sure that every film he makes ends up as a massive hit,'.

All these questions have only been raised as Shankar made Game Changer and delayed the film a bit. Fans were a bit upset with the director that he had compromised with the quality and were posting comments on social media. Now that Shankar has cleared the air, fans will have a sigh of relief.

Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, and Bobby Simha also played critical roles in the film and spoke highly about Kamal Haasan and his performance in the film. Bharateeyudu has music by Anirudh and will have a wide release in Telugu states.
