Shah Rukh Khan made his acting comeback with not one or two but three films, all of which were a hit. After giving us Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki, the actor took a break once again. But he is going to be back, shooting for his next film soon. SRK confirmed the same and spilled details of why did he take the break and shared an update on his next film.

Shah Rukh Khan told Star Sports’ Knight Club’s King Khan Rules on Friday that he was working non-stop owing to the three movie releases. The actor said that the roles demanded a lot out of him physically, which is why he intentionally decided to take a short break and focus on his IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) till the time he recovers from the fatigue after filming the three movies back-to-back. “Teen filmein kar chuka hoon, it took a lot of physical work also. So, I said maybe I’ll take some time off,” he recalled.

When will he start shooting for his next?

The superstar also spilled details on when will he start shooting for his next film. He teased a little by saying that they start shooting August, then went on to say it was in July and eventually revealed that his next film will go on floors in June itself. This means that SRK will be ready to entertain his fans on screen again soon and the prep for that will begin by next month itself.

Will continue coming to matches

Despite his shooting schedule, SRK has promised to take time out to attend all IPL 2024 matches where KKR will be playing. He took time out during his break to be there for the matches and will continue doing so even when shooting for his next film. “Main khushi se aata hoon,” he said.

SRK on Virat Kohli being film fraternity’s ‘damaad’

Shah Rukh Khan further recalled how Virat Kohli is the ‘damaad’ of the film fraternity since marrying Anushka Sharma. The actor was shooting for Jab Harry Met Sejal when Virushka were dating and spent a lot of time together. He recalled knowing the couple since and how Virat became his friend, more than any other cricketer, ever since.
