Saindhav is one film on which Venkatesh pinned a lot of hope to make a comeback in the action genre. But sadly, the action drama has ended as a big flop at the box office. We have already reported that ETV Win has bagged the OTT rights to the film.

Now, we have come to know from our sources that the digital release might likely be advanced. Going into details, Saindhav, which was released on January 13, 2024, was supposed to be out on OTT in the third week of February 2024. But as the film has flopped, the streaming giant has offered extra bucks to advance the digital release.

Saindhav OTT release date

As per the news, Saindhav might drop on OTT on February 15, 2024. Though an official confirmation is yet to be made, this news has become a hot topic in film circles. Sailesh Kolanu has directed this film which showcased Venkatesh in an action-packed avatar after a long time.

Saindhav is about a gun cartel and how Venkatesh gets involved with them to save his daughter who has a rare disease. Saindhav is also special as it marked the Telugu debut of award-winning actor Nawauddin Siddique. He played the main villain in this film and was superb in the film.

Saindhav had a great story on paper but sadly, Sailesh's narration was not up to the mark. He chose an unconventional climax and this did not go well with the audience. The action drama has made only Rs 15 crore share and needs Rs 17 crore share to be in the safe zone and that is unlikely to happen seeing the way the film is performing at the box office.

Saindhav was released as the Sankranthi special and as the other releases, Guntur Kaaram, HanuMan, and Naa Saami Ranga are performing well, the collections of Saindhav have gone down badly. In many areas, theatres that were allotted to Saindhav have been now given to HanuMan which has become a surprise hit at the box office.

The film directed by Prasanth Varma has clocked the Rs 100 crore mark already and is going great guns even on the weekdays. So, we need to see how much Saindhav will make in the days to come.

Shraddha Srinath and Ruhani Sharma played the female leads in this film. Santhosh Narayanan composed the music and his score has come in for a lot of trolls as none of the songs or BGM clicked in the film and disappointed the fans big time.
