Nara Rohit, the nephew of ex-cm Nara Chandra Babu Naidu was once a bankable actor in Telugu cinema. He did multiple films and was known for introducing new stories in Telugu cinema. But he was nowhere to be seen in the last six years or so and disappointed his fans big time. 

Pratinidhi 2 gets postponed

In 2024, he is making his comeback with a film titled Prathinidhi 2, a sequel to his yesteryear film Pratinidhi. Touted to be a political thriller, the film was supposed to hit the screens on April 26, 2024. But now, news has come out that the film failed to complete its censorship, which has resulted in the film's postponement.

Has Pratinidhi 2 been postponed for this reason?

As it is a propaganda film against the YCP government, news has come out that the censor formalities have purposely been halted and this is being done by CM Jagan and his team. They do not want the film to showcase the TDP government in a good light, and that is the reason the censorship has been postponed as of now.

The makers have officially announced that the film has been postponed, and a new date will be announced soon. Prathinidhi 2 is special because it is directed by popular TV journalist Murthy Devagupthapu, and this is his debut film as a director. The bookings for the film already started on a positive note but sadly, the film has been postponed at the last minute.

Prathinidhi is the story of a common man who kidnaps the state head and demands he answer about the various schemes the government had promised after coming into power. Kumar Raza Bathula, Anjaneyulu Sri Thota, and Surendranath Bollineni produce the sequel under the banners of Vanara Entertainments and Rana Arts. We need to see when this political thriller will be released in the days to come.
