Nayattu was a smash hit in Malayalam cinema. The cop drama starred Joju George in the lead role, and his performance became a talking point during the film's release. Now, Aha has bagged the Telugu version's OTT rights for a fancy price. The latest update is that Nayattu Telugu will stream on Aha on April 26, 2024.

Nayattu's Telugu-dubbed version to stream on Aha

The Telugu version has been titled Chunduru Police Station, and Aha announced the OTT date with a brand new poster. Nayattu was also remade in Telugu with the name Kota Bommali PS and did fairly well in Telugu states. Srikanth, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Shivani Rajasekhar, and others played key roles in this film, which is also streaming on Aha.

GA 2 Pictures bankrolled the film in Telugu and promoted it on a very aggressive note. Though the film has been remade in Telugu, there is a decent buzz for Nayattu on OTT. Of late, Malayalam films are being welcomed by the Telugu audience in a big way, and that is one of the main reasons for the Aha team to dub the film in Telugu.

Chunduru Police Station OTT release date

Martin Prakkat directed the Malayalam original, which was made in 2021. The film is a suspense thriller, and the climax twist is one of the biggest highlights. Nayattu had a very captivating BGM by Vishnu Vijay, and Shjyu Khalid captured the captivating visuals. Nayattu's filming started before the COVID-19 lockdown, and the film was put on hold.

Later, the makers wrapped up the film and released it with a limited release. But as word of mouth spread, the film ended as a smash hit. We need to see how the Telugu version fares on OTT. Watch this space for more updates.
