Naga Chaitanya is his new film Thandel in the direction of Chandoo Mondeti of Karthikeya fame. Sai Pallavi plays the female lead in this film which is busy with its shoot in Hyderabad as of now. The makers are leaving no stone unturned to make this film a huge success and have started promotions right from day one of its inception.

Now, we have come to know that the makers are in plans to release the film during the lucrative season of Dussehra. This is also the time when NTR's Devara will be out on October 10, 2024. The makers of Thadel are also looking at this date as it is a long weekend and the film will get a festival advantage.

Naga Chaitanya gave a massive flop with his last film Custody in the direction of Venkat Prabhu. Post that film, he teamed up with his favorite director Chandoo Mondeti for a rustic village drama. Chandoo is the man who has given Naga Chaitanya some memorable films in his career and he will showcase the talented actor as a fisherman in Thandel.

The makers have captioned the news poster as "A leader is born to ride against the tide and time for his people" which gives the idea that the film is all about Naga Chaitanya going against the system for his people. This is the second time that Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi have teamed up with each other after the super success of Love Story which was directed by Sekhar Kammula.

National Award winner for Pushpa, Devi Sri Prasad will compose the music for this film which is being produced by GA Pictures. Bunny Vas. Chay has started bulking up for his role as a fisherman. The action drama is being made on a budget of Rs 55 crores which is the highest ever in Chay's career.
