Love Me is Ashish Reddy's new horror thriller, produced by Dil Raju. The film was all set to hit the screens on April 25, 2024, but we at OTTplay had already revealed that it was postponed at the last minute. One reason for this was the dull response to Dil Raju's Family Star, which had Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles.

Dil Raju's Love Me locks a new release date

Now, the latest update is that Dil Raju has locked May 25, 2024, as the new release date of Love Me. By then, IPL will be done, and also the election fever in AP will come to an end. This time, the elections in AP are in full swing as movie star Pawan Kalyan has joined hands with TDP and BJP.

Love Me postponed due to AP elections

There is an uproar that he will win, and all this has created a different mood in the state, and Dil Raju does not want to release his film during this time. That is the reason he has locked May 25 as the new release date of Love Me.

Baby fame Vaishnavi Chaitanya plays the female lead in this film, which has music by MM Keeravani. The audio launch of the film was held on a grand note, but the response to it was quite dull. So, keeping all these things in mind, Dil Raju backed off at the last minute and changed the release plan.

Love Me is a special film in the careers of Ashish Reddy and Vaishnavi Chaitanya, as it is their second film. The horror thriller is produced by Dil Raju's daughter, Hanshita Reddy, along with Harshith Reddy. The teaser of the film gives the idea that Love Me is a romantic thriller.

Arun Bhimavarapu directed this film, which has camerawork by PC Sreeram. This is the first time that Dil Raju's team is trying something this unique and that is the reason he does not want to take any risk with the release and has etched a proper release plan now.
