Vijay Anthony has a decent following in Telugu cinema. All his Tamil films get dubbed in Telugu and also open on a positive note in Telugu states. The popular actor was last seen in the film titled Romeo. The film was released with the title Love Guru in Telugu on April 11, 2024.

Love Guru OTT release date

Well, we at OTTplay, have already revealed that Romeo will be out on Amazon Prime on May 10, 2024. Now, the news is that the Telugu version will be out on Aha on the same date. Initially, there was news that Romeo would be out on Aha Tamil, but things changed.

The Tamil version, Romeo, will be out on Amazon, while the Telugu version, Love Guru, will stream on Aha on May 10, 2024. We have come to know that Aha has bagged the deal at the last minute and spent a decent amount on the film which has been written and directed by Vinayak Vaithianathan.

Love Guru failed to perform in Telugu states

Love Guru had a limited release in Telugu states. Though the reviews were decent, the film did not take off at the box office and ended up as a flop. Vijay Antony came to Hyderabad and attended a few promotional events as well but none of it worked in favor of the film.

Mirnalini Ravi played the female lead in this film, which also had VTV Ganesh, Thalaivasal Vijay, Ilavarasu, Sudha, and Sreeja Ravi in important roles. The satellite rights of Romeo have been bagged by Vijay TV. Love Guru is the story of a young man, played by Vijay Antony, who is forced to marry Mrinali Ravi, who, in turn, has no interest in marriage and wants to become a heroine.

The family drama and a few comedy scenes were neatly narrated in the film. We need to see how the film fares on OTT. The Telugu version will stream, along with a few other shows like Sarkaar 4, on May 10, 2024. Watch this space for more updates.
