Later, due to reasons best known to the makers of the film, the release date was pushed forward to May 9, 2024. However, today is April 20 and no grand-scale promotions of the project have begun yet. Recent reports hint that the release of the project has again been postponed due to the ongoing General Elections in India. Amid such developments, a fresh report hints that the release date of Kalki 2898 AD will be revealed tomorrow.

Kalki 2898 AD’s release date to be revealed

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama this afternoon, the team of Kalki 2898 AD is planning an event that is slated to be held on a grand scale on Sunday, April 21. While details of the event are not yet known officially, sources close to the development told the news outlet that it is very likely that the makers of the film will unveil a fresh release date of the project. Not only this, but the makers are also planning to unveil a fresh glimpse of the project – which can either be a photo or a video, or both.

Prabhas’ look and name from Kalki 2898 AD

On March 8, the team behind actor Prabhas' upcoming pan-Indian science fiction film, Kalki 2898 AD, unveiled a fresh poster revealing the character played by the actor. The poster features Prabhas as Bhairava, identified in the caption as "from the future streets of Kasi." This grand sci-fi spectacle, infused with mythology, is situated in a futuristic setting and reportedly showcases Prabhas embodying a modern take on Lord Vishnu.

In February, Nag Ashwin shared intriguing insights about his upcoming Prabhas-led project, Kalki 2898 AD, assuring audiences that the epic science-fiction saga will deliver an unparalleled visual feast. He shared this while addressing an event in Delhi.
