We had previously reported that actor-comedian Santhanam will be seen in an upcoming film titled Inga Naan Thaan Kingu. The first look was unveiled by Kamal Haasan earlier this year. Now, the makers on Saturday, dropped a new update regarding the film. The Santhanam-starrer is set to hit big screens on May 10.

Actor Santhanam, who was last seen in Vadakkupatti Ramasamy which released earlier this year, is prepping up for the release of his next. Inga Naan Thaan Kingu, which will be out on May 10, is presented by Gopuram Films' GN Anbuchezhian and produced by Sushmitha Anbuchezhian on a grand scale. Touted to be a commercial entertainer, the makers released a new poster.

A new poster shows Santhanam and the primary cast members of the film, including actors Thambi Ramaiah, Bala Saravanan and others. Santhanam is seen wearing a white and white uniform holding a red bucket, as the others are seen behind him, in different costumes. A matador van is seen in the background.

Inga Naan Thaan Kingu is directed by filmmaker Anand Narayan, and stars Priyalaya as the female lead, in her acting debut. She is shown wearing the doctor's coat. Munishkanth, late Manobala, Vivek Prasanna, Maran, Cool Suresh and others are also part of Inga Naan Thaan Kingu’s cast.

The story, screenplay and dialogues for Inga Naan Thaan Kingu have been penned by Ezhichur Aravindan, with D Imman scoring the music. Lyrics have been penned by filmmaker Vignesh Shivan and Muthamil. The technical crew also consists of Om Narayan as the cinematographer, while M Thiyagarajan is the editor. The film was shot in and around Chennai.

Meanwhile, Santhanam who is known for his own brand of humour, was last seen in rural comedy film Vadakkupatti Ramasamy, which is currently available for streaming on Prime Video.
