Hrithik Roshan's Mother Pinkie Roshan Criticizes Nadaaniyan, Except for One Exception
13 days ago | 5 Views
Ibrahim Ali Khan's first Bollywood film, Nadaaniyan, has just dropped on Netflix, but it's getting more criticism than compliments. Hrithik Roshan's mom, Pinkie Roshan, weighed in too, subtly labeling the film as a letdown, though she did mention one thing she appreciated about it. Here’s the scoop....
Hrithik Roshan's mom, Pinkie Roshan, totally agrees with a critic who was really let down by Nadaaniyan
Even though Nadaaniyan has faced a lot of criticism from various reviewers, one in particular, Freddy Birdy, really stood out to Pinkie. This interviewer didn't hold back, labeling the film as 'mindless' and taking a jab at the OTT platform by saying, "Why put out amazing shows like Sacred Games, Jamtara, Darlings, and Delhi Crime when you can serve up something like Nadaaniyan… Proceed at your own risk." Pinkie found herself agreeing with the reviewer, but there was a surprising twist.
Pinkie Roshan is backing Ibrahim Ali Khan as he makes his Bollywood debut
Pinkie totally agreed with the funny review, saying she loved Ibrahim Ali Khan. The reviewer was thrilled to see Ibrahim bringing together the looks of Saif Ali Khan and the voice of Sanjay Dutt. Since this is Ibrahim's first movie, Pinkie is all in for the actor. But it seems like the internet isn't being as kind.
Some things that netizens aren't too fond of regarding Nadaaniyan
Nadaaniyan is getting a lot of flak from all sides, mostly for its dialogues and how they're delivered. A lot of viewers thought the lines were coming at them way too fast, like they were on 1.5x speed, even though they didn't adjust any settings. The quick response? People are calling it 'torture.'
Khushi Kapoor's latest movie has received a pretty mixed response
Khushi Kapoor has been in The Archies, Loveyapa, and Nadaaniyan so far. The response to her films has been pretty mixed, leaning more towards the negative side. Both The Archies and Nadaaniyan faced a lot of criticism, while Loveyapa, which stars Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan, caught people off guard. Still, none of these films have really hit the mark. Recently, Boney Kapoor mentioned that he wants to make a sequel to MOM (which originally starred Sridevi) with Khushi taking the lead role. However, that project will only kick off after they finish filming No Entry 2.
