The digital space is bustling with activity as not one but two big Telugu films have landed on OTT. They are Siddhu Jonnalagadda's Tillu Square and Vijay Deverakonda's Family Star. Both of these films are now streaming on OTT as of April 26, 2024. Tillu Square is now streaming on Netflix, whereas Family Star is out on Amazon Prime Video, and there is a massive craze for both of these films.

Tillu Square is a smash hit at the box office and the makers are expecting it to do quite well on OTT as well. On the other hand, Family Star will face competition from Tillu Square as the film is an entertainer and the Vijay Deverakonda starrer is a routine family drama.

However, one of the sources close to Amazon Prime says that Family Star will also do well, as a majority of the audience missed the film on the big screen and is waiting to see it on Prime Video. Generally, the films that flop at the box office also do not do well on OTT as well.

But Family Star is a big film with Vijay Deverakonda and Mrunal Thakur in lead roles, so there is quite some craze for it. Family Star was directed by Parasuram, and he was trolled badly for narrating the film on a very silly note. But the audience does not have any complaints, as they have not one but two films to enjoy this weekend.

Tillu Square has Anupama Parameswaran, and she stunned everyone with her glamour. The film has great comedy and solid twists. So, the film will be watched by many on OTT. The special aspect is that these films were released a week apart, and as Tillu Square was released after Family Star, it ate into the family drama and did not give any chance at the box office.

The same is being expected on OTT as well but the makers of these films are confident that both Tillu Square and Family Star will not face any difficulty when it comes to streaming minutes.
