Chhaava, a monumental historical action film, has dominated the box office since its premiere. Featuring performances by Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, and Akshaye Khanna, the movie has garnered acclaim for its informative content and emotional depth. Regarding its box office performance, Chhaava surpassed Rs. 150 crore by the fifth day and is projected to exceed Rs. 160 crore by the sixth day, as per early estimates from Sacnilk.

Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 5 Update  

As reported by Sacnilk, Chhaava generated Rs. 24.50 crore on its fifth day. The film's strong performance has led to a cumulative total of Rs. 165 crore. Early projections suggest that it will surpass Rs. 166 crore, achieving a significant milestone.

Chhaava receives love from Karan Johar

Karan Johar shared a poster of Chhaava on his Instagram Story, expressing his excitement with the message, "#chaava!!!! Congratulations on the BLOCKBUSTER success of this remarkable film, featuring an emotionally powerful and unyielding final act."

In the meantime, the review for Chhaava states, "Vicky Kaushal delivers an outstanding performance in Laxman Utekar's expertly crafted film, which showcases the bravery of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Chhaava is an essential viewing experience!"

Vicky Kaushal's prep for Chhaava

A few days prior, Vicky released a video that highlighted his transformation into Chhaava, a title attributed to the Maratha emperor.

Vicky explained, "The training was intense, involving horse riding, weaponry skills with both sword and laathi (stick), as well as action training. Each day consisted of 6 to 8 hours of rigorous practice."

Following its theatrical release, Chhaava is set to debut on Netflix. Typically, a film takes between 45 to 60 days to transition to an OTT platform. The production team has not yet disclosed the official release date for Chhaava on OTT.

This historical epic stars Vicky Kaushal in the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, with Rashmika Mandanna portraying Maharani Yesubai. Akshaye Khanna plays the role of Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. The cast also features Divya Dutta, and Ashutosh Rana, among others.
