Diljit Dosanjh's take on films' success

Thanks to the success of Amar Singh Chankila, Diljeet has been busy giving numerous interviews. Recently, the ‘Lover’ singer had an interesting take during an interview with IANS. When he was asked who else in Bollywood has given blockbusters this year apart from him, Diljit said that no one has the right to declare whose film or song is a hit or not.

He added that everything is in God’s hands. No actor or director can say that, because of their presence, a film became a blockbuster. He shared that people say everything is in the audience's hands, but he also thinks of himself as an audience member. If he likes a movie, then the audience will also love it, because he is very aware of people’s choices and their perspectives. Diljit feels that he has the same questions and curiosities that the general public has.

Amar Singh Chamkila is a dream come true for Parineeti Chopra

Amar Singh Chamkila is the story of the late Punjabi musician of the same name, who was killed in 1988 along with his wife and co-singer, Amarjot Kaur. Chamkila is still among the most celebrated musicians in Punjab. The movie has received an overwhelming response and is currently ruling Netflix by grabbing the top spot among non-English films.

A few days ago, even Parineeti Chopra talked highly about the biopic. She even spilled the beans, saying that it was her long-standing desire to work with director Imtiaz Ali. So, working on Amar Singh Chamkila was a dream come true for her. She had to put on weight, hide from the media, and lose out on other film offers while shooting for Amar Singh Chamkila, but Parineeti said that she doesn't regret any of it.
