Nara Rohit is making his comeback with Prathinidhi 2, a sequel to his yesteryear film Prathinidhi. Touted to be a political thriller, the film was supposed to hit the screens on April 26, 2024. We, at OTTplay, have already reported that the film failed to complete its censorship, which has resulted in the film's postponement.

Prathinidhi 2 gets a new release date

The latest update is that Prathinidhi 2 will hit the screens on May 10, 2024. That means the release's timing is perfect, as it will be out just three days before the AP elections on May 13, 2024. Prathinidhi 2 is a proper propaganda film made to showcase the TDP party in a good light.

As it is a propaganda film against the YCP government, news has come out that the censor formalities have purposely been halted and this is being done by CM Jagan and his team. They do not want the film to showcase the TDP government in a good light, and that is the reason the censorship has been postponed as of now.

Nara Rohit, the nephew of ex-cm Nara Chandrababu Naidu was once a bankable actor in Telugu cinema. He did multiple films and was known for introducing new stories in Telugu cinema. But he was nowhere to be seen in the last six years or so. Now, he is making a comeback with Prathinidhi 2, which is being directed by popular TV journalist Murthy Devagupthapu, and this is his debut film as a director.

Kumar Raza Bathula, Anjaneyulu Sri Thota, and Surendranath Bollineni under the banners of Vanara Entertainments and Rana Arts. Prathinidhi 2 is the story of a common man who kidnaps the state head and demands he answer about the various schemes the government had promised after coming into power.
