Discussing Katrina's response to the song, the actor said that when she gave her stamp of approval to the song, it was the biggest relief. "This is good," she said, to which he responded, "Shukar hai."

Further revealing his motivation, Vicky said that Katrina keeps telling him, "I know you love to dance. You are not a trained dancer, but you are a baraati dancer." She assures the actor that being spontaneous is perfectly OK in real life, but that he should rein it in when filming.

On this occasion, Katrina was overjoyed because Vicky restrained his expressions, movements, and demeanour. When she said that dancing is beneficial, she was referring to those lines, and she was more content with that aspect because he maintained his composure.

Popularity of Tauba Tauba and upcoming film Bad Newz

Since its premiere on July 2, the music video for Tauba Tauba has remained a popular choice on Instagram Reels. Bad Newz is Vicky's next outing, and the eccentric film explores the bizarre realm of heteropaternal superfecundation, veering off the typical romantic comedy path in an entertaining way. In addition to Neha Dhupia and Triptii Dimri, the film also features Ammy Virk. Anand Tiwari, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar, and Amritpal Singh Bindra all contribute to the film's production, which he also directs. Bad Newz is set to hit the big screen on July 19, 2024.

Meanwhile, Katrina last appeared in Sriram Raghavan's Merry Christmas, which starred Vijay Sethupathi. She is set to star alongside Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra Jonas in Farhan Akhtar's forthcoming flick, Jee Le Zara. Three years after its announcement, the film's production has yet to commence.
