Ahead of The Broken News 2 release, the makers have shared a new promo from the show. This time, we see Shriya Pilgaonkar’s Radha Bhargava at crossroads while Sonali Bendre’s Ameena Qureshi gives her an advice on how to be a good journalist. Radha has just gone through an emotional turmoil and she is still trying to figure how to live a normal life after all that has happened in her life.

Radha craves revenge after being tagged as a terrorist

Shriya’s Radha was tagged as a terrorist and sent to prison. She now wants revenge and has a way of taking that very revenge, but Sonali Bendre’s Ameena puts her at crossroads. Ameena is of the belief to not let emotions rule when it comes to journalism. Thus, now, Radha is unsure about her next step.

How does Jaideep Ahlawat come in the picture?

It was Jaideep Ahlawat’s Dipankar Sanyal who called Radha a terrorist on National Television, thus leading to her arrest. In the trailer of the second season, one can hear him call news boring and that he cooks up stories and then presents them to people. Of course, he too has a story to tell.

Ameena being the middle ground

Sonali’s Ameena is the one who has the middle ground. She sees things from a third perspective and the one that takes her one step closer to being a good journalist. She makes you question, “Tumhaare saath kya galat hua yeh soch kar kabhi journalism mat karna, balki yeh soch ke karna ki kya tum sahi karne ke liye journalist banne aayi thi?”

The suspense

The Dipakar vs Radha battle got intense when it came to taking a life in order to save reputation. The trailer and the latest promo of the show also gave people a hint on how there’s an attempt to murder on Radha.

The Broken News 2 will be out on Zee5 and OTTplay Premium from May 3.
