Soumitrisha Kundu won a million hearts with her Zee Bangla serial Mithai. After Mithai ended, she became Dev's heroine and debuted on the big screen with Pradhaan. Now, she is all set for her next film.

Soumitrisha earlier said that she had no intention to go back to television and she rather wanted to create her presence in films. Her next film, 10th June, in which she will team up with Sourav Das.

The film will show Mitali alone in her house one day. Suddenly the doorbell rings. Mitali opens the door and a murderer walks in. He wants to take refuge to avoid the cops. He scares Mitali with a gun and threatens to kill her. Mitali initially gets scared, but then gathers herself up. She asks the murderer why he committed the murder. The entire story becomes clearer with time.

On the other hand, the murderer also wonders why Mitali questions so much. Is the date 10th June important with his story and Mitali’s life? The film will delve into that.

Soumitrisha shared the news on Instagram and asked for everyone's blessing. Speculations were on about Soumitrisha's next film for the last few months. Her character Rumi in Pradhaan was liked by the audience. Now the fans’ wait is over.

Soumitrisha’s co-actor from Mithai Adrit will get married soon to his long-term girlfriend and co-actor, Koushambi. Adrit and Kaushambi will marry each other on May 9.
