Sonakshi Sinha speaks out against sensationalism

Late on Thursday, Sonakshi posted on her Instagram stories that she is keeping the armed forces and the entire nation in her thoughts as the situation intensified. She stated, “Praying for our armed forces…Praying for India…Praying for every worried Indian at this moment…Praying for the innocent who have already fallen and will continue to do so…Praying for peace during this time of conflict. Jai hind. ”

Sonakshi Sinha prayed for the country.

She also shared the directive from the Ministry of Defence that encourages the media and the public to refrain from sharing real-time news on social media and other platforms, criticizing channels for their ‘over-dramatisation’. Her message stated, “Our news channels are ridiculous! I’ve had enough of these exaggerated visuals and sound effects, the yelling and chaos! What are you all doing? Just do your job, report the facts as they are. Stop sensationalizing WAR and causing panic among people who are already anxious for goodness' sake. People should just find a trustworthy news source and stick to it…stop watching this nonsense in the name of news. ”
