Shreyas Talpade was hospitalized a few months back after a sudden heart attack. Now, with theories that some COVID-19 vaccines are not safe for the human bodies, the actor cannot negate the fact that the very vaccine could be a reason for his attack. He pointed out about him adopting healthy habits and showing no issues in health check-ups before the condition arose.

Shreyas believes heart attack could be a side effect of the vaccine

Shreyas Talpade told Lehren Retro that he cannot negate the theory. “It was only after the Covid-19 vaccination is when I started experiencing some fatigue and tiredness,” he explained, calling it unfortunate that people aren’t even sure what they have taken inside their body. “We went with the flow and trusted the companies. I never heard of such incidents before Covid-19,” the actor said, thus resonating many concerns since the news is out.

Actor points out he has no bad habits to lead to heart attack

In the same interview, Shreyas confirmed that he doesn’t smoke or consume tobacco and drinks only once a month. He had a slightly high cholesterol level but was told it is normal for today’s times and was taking medication for the same as well, which made the levels drop. The actor also pointed that he doesn’t have diabetes or blood pressure and thus, the heart attack came all of a sudden.

Shreyas Talpade suffered heart attack in December 2023, while he was shooting for Ahmed Khan’s Welcome to the Jungle. The actor called it a second chance at life and recalled how he was doing army training sequences with the cast when he suddenly started feeling tired like never before. “Suddenly, after the last shot, I felt breathless, and my left hand started paining. I could barely walk to my vanity van and change my clothes. I thought it was a muscle pull since we were shooting action sequences. You don't think of the worst-case scenario, right? I had never experienced this kind of fatigue,” the actor said.

Shreyas Talpade has been a part of various movies but his most memorable roles include playing the lead roles in Kaun Pravin Tambe? and Nagesh Kukunoor’s Iqbal. The actor has also worked in movies like Golmaal 3, Housefull 2, Dor and Om Shanti Om.
