It has been over a month since Shark Tank India Season 3 began airing on Sony LIV. Hosted by actor Rahul Dua, the show sees Aman Gupta, Namita Thapar, Anupam Mittal, Vineeta Singh, Amit Jain, and Peyush Bansal as investors on the show. These investors, also known as Sharks, help aspiring entrepreneurs from India excel in their businesses. The latest promotional video of the upcoming episode of the show is out today and it sees the presence of two pitchers engaging in a heated conversation with investors. Here is what happened next.

Latest promo of Shark Tank India Season 3

At the beginning of the promo – the founders of the brand ‘Cup Ji’ namely Jay Sotta and Aakash Sotta – pitch a concept of ready-to-sip green teacups. The founders of the brand feel that the products sold under the brand name are innovative and make green tea palatable and hassle-free to brew.

After hearing the pitch, Aman Gupta sarcastically commented, “Kya baat hai!” Anupam Mittal wondered why the founders were trying to “bring life into a boring category like tea.”

Namita firmly told the pitchers that the product’s unique selling proposition (USP) is very easy to copy. Amit Jain gave the tea a taste and immediately said that the tea offered to him was very high in sugar.

Later, Vineeta Singh sternly told the pitchers, “Why are you all not preparing tastier and healthier green tea as compared to your competition in the market? Why are you making cups like these? What’s the need?”

The response of the pitchers is not known. Only time will tell whether the pitchers cracked a deal on the show or not.

Besides the Sharks mentioned above, the Season also saw the presence of new Sharks repeatedly namely Ritesh Agarwal, Deepinder Goyal, Radhika Gupta, Ronnie Screwvala, and Varun Dua.
