Samantha Ruth Prabhu on producing Subham

Recognized for her performances in movies such as Ye Maaya Chesave, Oh Baby, Theri, and others, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is stepping into a new position as a producer. Her first production, Subham, under the label Tralala Moving Pictures, is preparing for its release on May 9.
Reflecting on her role as a producer and her experience working on a film offscreen, the A Aa actress mentioned, “I aimed to create films that I would enjoy watching, and my identity as a woman is going to shape the choices I make. And this aligned perfectly with what I was searching for. As it developed, it continued to improve, even during the editing process. It was remarkable to be involved from the very beginning. Usually, as an actor, you are quite pampered; you arrive on set and at times you don't even recall your lines. You feel disconnected from the filmmaking process. Therefore, this experience provided me with a comprehensive perspective on everything. It also instilled in me tremendous respect for everyone who contributes to making a film behind the scenes. Indeed, my admiration for actors has somewhat diminished (laughs), while my appreciation for the crew has grown significantly. ”
