, Rajamouli commended the armed forces for managing the situation effectively, stating on X (formerly Twitter), “Saluting our Brave Indian Armed Forces for their unwavering courage in protecting our nation from terrorism. Let’s stand together as a nation, inspired by their valor, to build a future of peace and unity. Jai Hind! ”

Victory is ours. ”

What does the directive from the Ministry of Defence say?

For those who are unfamiliar, the directive from the Defence Ministry shared on X states: “All media outlets, online platforms, and individuals are urged to avoid live broadcasts or real-time updates regarding defence activities and the movement of security forces. They continued: “Previous events such as the #KargilWar, the 26/11 attacks, and the #Kandahar hijacking highlight the dangers associated with premature reporting. According to clause 6(1)(p) of the Cable Television Networks (Amendment) Rules, 2021, only scheduled briefings by authorized officials are allowed during anti-terror operations. All parties involved are encouraged to maintain vigilance, sensitivity, and accountability in their reporting, ensuring the highest standards are upheld in the service of the nation. ”
