Irrfan Khan was a one-of-a-kind actor—what many would call a once-in-a-lifetime talent. They say the good die young and the actor breathed his last in 2020. Although the late actor had revealed that he was suffering from neuroendocrine cancer, his death shocked everyone. And it was a loss felt not just in India but across the world, since he also had pivotal roles in big Hollywood films, such as The Amazing Spider-Man (2012), the Oscar-winning movie Life of Pi (2012), Jurassic World (2015) and Tom Hanks' Inferno (2016).

Irrfan Khan's unseen candid pictures

Irrfan Khan's movies will always be cherished. Be it Maqbool (2003), The Namesake (2006), Life In A…Metro (2007), Pan Singh Tomar (2012), Piku (2015), or his last film, Angrezi Medium (2020), each is legendary. So, it was a treat when his son, actor Babil Khan, shared some unseen pictures of the late actor earlier today, remembering him on his 5th death anniversary.

In the first picture, Irrfan and his wife, Sutapa Sikdar, are seen having a candid conversation. Another picture is quite blurred, but you can make out that it is of Irrfan shooting for a film. The Qala actor captioned the pictures, “I'm gonna miss you, you know? Standing under my umbrella. I going to miss you too, but I guess It’s time to dance in the rain now.”

Babil Khan recalls how his father got distant

Meanwhile, Babil recently revealed to MensXP that fame made Irrfan Khan distant from his family. Otherwise, he had always led a very low-key life. Recalling his childhood, The Railway Men actor shared that it meant the world to him if he got to hold his father's hands for even 10 minutes. So, it was quite traumatic for him whenever bodyguards used to isolate Irrfan from the crowd.
