Jr NTR has been in the spotlight recently as filming for his upcoming project, directed by Prashanth Neel, commenced a few days ago. After completing the initial schedule, Jr NTR traveled to London for a particular event tied to his acclaimed film RRR. Upon his return, he will kick off an intense filming schedule for his collaboration with Prashanth Neel.
Rashmika's special role in Dragon
Rukmini Vasanth has been selected as the main female star and is already attached to the film. Now, according to recent information, Rashmika Mandanna, well-known for her roles in Bheeshma and Pushpa 2, has been added for a special part in the production. Although she isn’t the main female lead, sources indicate that her role will be quite significant. If this information is accurate, it will be her comeback to Kannada films after a considerable period.
Tentatively titled Dragon, this film is expected to be produced in Kannada as well. Rashmika, one of the leading actresses in India, has been consistently delivering hits. If she comes on board, it will also be her first collaboration with Jr NTR, the star of Temper.

This action-packed drama is being co-produced by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts. Jr NTR is set to present a slimmer version of himself for this character. However, this new look has led to some worries among fans, with a few questioning his health—a rumor that is unfounded.
In addition to Dragon, Jr NTR is also slated to appear in Ayan Mukerji’s War 2, which is scheduled to hit theaters on August 14, 2025. Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna will soon star in a female-centric film titled The Girlfriend, directed by Rahul Ravindran. The filming has wrapped up and is now in the post-production phase. Produced by Allu Aravind, known for Magadheera, The Girlfriend is a socially themed drama.
