In a video shared by news agency IANS this evening, Ranveer and Kriti were seen wearing traditional Indian clothes for the temple visit. While Kriti chose to wear a simple saree, Ranveer chose to go for a simple white kurta pyjama with a bright yellow shawl. After offering prayers to the divine deities, the two Bollywood stars chose to exit the venue under tight security.

However, several locals of the city noticed the presence of celebrities. Within a few minutes, a crowd gathered to see the two. While Kriti safely walked towards her car, Ranveer was met by a huge crowd. The Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (2023) actor later greeted, shook hands, and waved with scores of people.

This development is now trending online. Many social media users are speculating about the purpose of their visit. While some netizens feel that Kriti Sanon might be a part of Don 3, others feel it is just a coincidence.

Reportedly, the two are in Varanasi to participate in Dharohar Kashi Ki (a government-sponsored event to promote India’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage) in the evening.

In February, filmmaker Farhan Akhtar's production house, Excel Entertainment, revealed that Kiara Advani has joined the cast of the upcoming film Don 3. However, the announcement video did not disclose any details regarding her role in the movie.

Kiara Advani's participation in the film has been the most recent development since the announcement of Don 3 in August last year. This announcement was accompanied by the news that Ranveer would be stepping into Shah Rukh Khan's shoes to portray the titular character in the franchise.
