Alia Bhatt previously suggested that Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor would be collaborating on a project centered around a significant rivalry. Recently, the two actors have engaged in a verbal exchange in their latest advertisement for Dream11. They are accompanied by prominent Indian cricketers, including Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, and Jasprit Bumrah, among others. In the advertisement, Aamir and Ranbir are depicted in a dispute regarding fame and personal egos.

In the video, Aamir is conversing with Rohit Sharma when Rishabh Pant interjects, requesting a photograph. To Aamir's astonishment, Rishabh actually wishes to capture a picture with Ranbir Kapoor. Aamir then remarks, “Arey photo kya, pappi de dega, apna hi bacha hai” (You are talking about a photo? He’ll give a kiss). While introducing Ranbir to Rishabh, Aamir states, “Rishu, he’s your generation’s biggest star, Ranveer Singh.”

Ranbir Kapoor gets annoyed

Rohit reminds Aamir of the correct surname of Ranbir, to which Aamir nonchalantly replies, “It’s the same; both are handsome men.” This response irritates Ranbir, who then remarks to Hardik Pandya, “How could he refer to Kapoor as Singh? Should I start calling him Salman?” Shortly thereafter, Aamir humorously interjects, “You may call me Salman, but not Arbaaz Khan.”

An exasperated Ranbir then expresses, “He has lost his mind since turning 60. Someone should tell him to retire.” He continues, “He is envious of me because he is merely a Khan, while I belong to a Khandaan.”

Aamir Khan fires back

Aamir Khan retorts, “The youth of today have egos that surpass their box office earnings.” In response, Ranbir, embodying his character from Animal, exclaims, “I can hear you; I am not deaf.” Aamir insists that Ranbir should show him respect, given his seniority. Subsequently, the two are seen selecting their preferred cricketers for the Aamir Khan 11 versus Ranbir Kapoor 11 match.

The advertisement has left fans amused, with many asserting it surpasses several Bollywood films. One comment noted, “This ad is far superior to current Bollywood offerings.” Another remarked, “It gives me Andaz Apna Apna vibes.” A third user praised the writing, stating, “Who crafted this? It’s exceptionally well done.” Additionally, some users suggested that “the cricketers performed better than many contemporary actors.”

Upcoming projects for Ranbir Kapoor and Aamir Khan include Aamir's role in Sitaare Zameen Par alongside Genelia, while Ranbir is set to star in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, portraying Lord Ram alongside Sai Pallavi and Yash, with a release scheduled for 2026. He is also involved in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, featuring Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt.
