We know that Siddhartha Basu hosts Quizzer of the Year (QOTY). Sony LIV announced recently that to proceed to the show's semifinals, the teams representing the Northern and Southern zones are about to battle. No more than two teams from the zones can proceed to the next level of the competition.

From the North Zone, students from Varanasi, Meerut and Kanpur have entered the quarterfinals.

On the other hand, Kozhikode, Bengaluru, Ernakulam, and Thodupuzha students from the South Zone entered the quarterfinals.


Quizzer of the Year: Cash prize details

Quizzer of the Year is a digital initiative for students in classes between IX and XII. This show presents pupils with a variety of interactive quizzes every day that can be taken virtually from any place while obtaining scores that are used in contests held with friends via internet rankings. Leading performers in these events are eligible for zonal and national tournaments aired by Sony LIV. Moreover, the national champions of QOTY stand a chance to secure a remarkable scholarship prize of Rs 1 crore. The team that comes second and third will stand a chance to win an educational scholarship of Rs 50 lakh and Rs 20 lakh, respectively.
