Ever since Priyanka Chopra stepped into Hollywood, there has not been a single year she did not attend the Met Gala. Even other celebrities from Bollywood, including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Natasha Poonawalla, and even Mukesh Ambani’s daughter Isha Ambani, all made their grand entry on the red carpet. But this year, Priyanka Chopra declared that she won't be able to attend Met Gala on May 6.

During an interaction with Access Hollywood, the 41-year-old actress stated that she has no clue who's attending this year, but she's definitely not attending Met Gala 2024 due to her tight shooting schedule. However, she said that she would keep an eye on who's attending because people’s creativity inspires her.

Lastly when she was asked that whom she was expecting in this year's edition, the Barfi actress replied although she hasn't read the list yet, she thinks Zendaya would definitely be present at the red carpet. While talking highly about the Dune star, she said, “She is amazing, so we definitely look forward to her.”

One is Heads of State, opposite John Cena and Idris Elba, while the other is Bluff, opposite The Boys star Karl Urban. The actress has already shared numerous sneak peeks from the shooting set, where her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas came to surprise her. While Heads of State’s shooting is ongoing, Bluff will go on floors soon.

Despite mostly doing Hollywood films these days and staying away from Bollywood, Priyanka Chopra has always been quite attached to India. Even when there are not any big events going on, she visits her hometown and proudly brings her husband Nick Jonas and daughter along with her.
