Seasoned actor Prashanth is quite upbeat about his upcoming movie, The Greatest of All Time , which is headlined by Thalapathy Vijay. He revealed that he was very excited about the prospect of sharing screen space with other leading stars in Tamil cinema in this movie.

Typically, a film centred on the stardom of its leading star will leave very little room for other talents to shine. However, Prashanth noted that he doesn't fear being overshadowed by Thalapathy Vijay, claiming that director Venkat Prabhu's script is so sprawling that it accommodates all actors very well.

"When Venkat Prabhu narrated the story, with Thalapathy Vijay, Prabhudeva, and me, I could imagine how visually impressive it would be. And every actor has his or her own space in the movie; that's the best part. It's a Thalapathy film, no doubt, but within that, Prabhudeva and I have our own space. It's a well-scripted film and is coming out very well," said Prashanth recently in an interview.

Prashanth's upcoming movies

Prashanth claimed that he has plenty of interesting things to share about The Greatest of All Time and that he would discuss more about the project closer to its release.

Prashanth was last seen in the Telugu film Vinaya Vidheya Rama (2019), where he played a supporting role in the movie headlined by Ram Charan. He has completed shooting for an upcoming Tamil thriller, Andhagan, which is the official remake of the Bollywood hit Andhadhun. The film has been written and directed by seasoned filmmaker-actor Thiagarajan, who is also Prashanth's father.

Andhagan also stars Karthik, Simran, Priya Anand, and Samuthirakani.

The production of The Greatest of All Time is ongoing without interruption. The cast and crew, along with Vijay, have flown to Russia for a 10-day shoot, which is said to be the last leg of production. The film is set to hit screens later this year.
